Has Joe Hart got lead in his boots?
Not very agile is he?

Seems miles away from the keeper who leaped across the goal to save Payet's rocket free kick that was going into the top corner a few seasons back.

Pointless signing.

Ranks behind Ludo, Parkes, Green, Shaka and even Adrian.

This really was a fantastic read. Can't wait for the hardback.

Totally not on that Reid and Hart can't stop a counter-attack on their own when everyone else has been instructed to get up the other end of the pitch at every opportunity.

Who the fuck are we digging out next, the tea-lady?

It certainly wasn't meant to be a fantastic read.

I find the situation rather depressing.

Re: Has Joe Hart got lead in his boots?
i think youre spot on. it was an unnecessary signing where we already had a keeper of similar ability, another Sullivan vanity project

Hart is probably the one position that's the least of our worries.

I DO rank Adrian as being of similar ability too. He's been royally fucked about for the period Bilic has been with us. You could say that about most of our players though.

Re: Has Joe Hart got lead in his boots?
I'm not saying Hart's useless, I just think the money spent could have maybe got Carvahlo in or someone else in midfield. I'm sure Randolph would have continued as the cup keeper as he seemed happy

Just seen Lloris pull off the type of save Hart should have made for the 2nd goal.

Re: Has Joe Hart got lead in his boots?
Adrian would have saved that second. This transfer shows how much of a shambles we are. All that money on a player who is at best, just about as good as the man he replaced.

Hermit,

Hart at his peak is definitely better than Adrian.

However his best was about 4 years ago. He's been on the decline since and he seems mentally shot.

'Hart is probably the one position that's the least of our worries.'

Well in about six months it is going to be very much a worry - Hart will be back from his loan and Adrian going if not gone with Randy, who will have pais for this farago

What then?

Re: Has Joe Hart got lead in his boots?
Hart dives too early for penalties. Gives the taker half a chance of changing his mind.

Re: Has Joe Hart got lead in his boots?
I don’t see him as an upgrade on Adrian. I can’t think we would sign him permanently so all we are doing is unsettling Adrian and potentially needing to sign two keepers in the summer.

We signed a keeper nobody else wanted - enough said.

Joe Hart is an average goalkeeper that has build his fortunes on his citizenship.
He is not better than Adrian.

Its not good that your two English players are past their best.

Re: Has Joe Hart got lead in his boots?
If Joe Hart was still the keeper he was 3 years ago he wouldn’t be with us.
Worryingly for England he is still number 1 and one of his competitors Fraser Forster seems also to move like a full wardrobe being pushed over.
While Jack Butland let in 7 last week

Bilic has any sense then Adrian needs to start against Palace on Saturday.
